Summary: An exposition on Church discipline from 1 Corinthians 4:18 - 5:13. Paul is laying out how to deal with gross sin in the Church. There are sins that must be dealt with through excommunication or putting one out of the Church fellowship. The purpose for this is for the destruction of the flesh so the spirit may be saved. Discipline must be done with the goal of restoration. And when repentance has come, restoration and forgiveness must be freely given.
