Summary: Why do we gather for worship on Sunday instead of the Sabbath? When Jesus, the lawgiver, came and fulfilled the law, it was such a big change that it demanded a change in worship! We gather on Sunday because our Lord arose from the dead on the first day of the week! It is the Resurrection Day! It is a declaration to the world of unity with the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrected life! It also bears testimony to our own life and the power of the resurrected Lord in our lives!
