Summary: As the children of Israel wondered in the wilderness, there were many times when they became dissatisfied with their circumstances and were upset with Moses and ultimately with God and His plan for them. We can tempt God as well by expecting His protection without heeding His warnings, complaining instead of being satisfied with where God has planted us, and refusing to learn from God's past warnings. If we do not fully submit to God's perfect plan and will for us, we are tempting Christ.
