Summary: Believers are called to evaluate music spiritually, recognizing that it shapes the heart and influences their walk with God. Music should honor God and reflect truth rather than sin or worldly influence. Even “Christian” music should be discerned by its spirit and impact. Since music isn’t neutral, it can draw us closer to God or away from Him—and even become an idol. Our choices should point us upward, promoting purity, obedience, worship, and also making space for stillness and balance.
