Summary: Be Ye Therefore Followers of God Being followers of God requires a "putting off" and a "putting on". We must die to self and sin, and to put on the righteousness of Christ. We are called to walk in love. The knowledge of the great love and forgiveness bestowed on us by God should motivate us to a life of following His example, and extending that love and forgiveness to our fellow man. We are called to a higher standard of living as children of the King.
