Summary: Communion Sunday We thank Jesus for what He has done for us by saying yes to the salvation He has provided and by following His will for our lives. The ordinance of communion is not just a remembrance of the past, but is a looking forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Participating in communion is a remembrance, a renewing, and a refreshing of the yeses we have made to Him; yes to His salvation, yes to following Him, etc. We thank Jesus by finding assurance of salvation through His righteousness that He imputes to us.
