A state of ease can produce a lifestyle that is more extravagant than it should be. A state of ease can produce contentment that is so great that we don't see any need to be busy, either physical work or Kingdom work. A state of ease can produce a mindset that doesn't see the need to plan ahead. A state of ease can produce a desire to be entertained. A state of ease can produce a lifestyle of gluttony and excess. A state of ease can lead to an excessive focus on one's own self, and dull the senses to the needs of others.
